Privacy
How we handle your information.
We collect what we need to answer you, we hold it in our own environment, and we tell you what happens to it.
This policy covers the EdgeQub website and our ordinary business dealings. It is written to be read, not to be endured.
Who this policy is about.
EdgeQub Pty Ltd, ABN 61 702 202 793, engineers AI capacity and intelligence production. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through this website and through our ordinary business dealings.
EdgeQub Pty Ltd is not currently an APP entity under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). We have chosen to handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles set out in that Act. Australian privacy law continues to develop, and if our obligations change we will update this policy.
In this policy, personal information means information or an opinion about an identified individual, or an individual who is reasonably identifiable.
What we collect.
Through the forms on this website we collect your name, your organisation, your email address, and your telephone number if you choose to give it. Where a form asks about an organisation we may also collect a website address.
The forms ask about your requirement, your operation, the conditions you work in and what you are trying to resolve. We collect whatever you choose to write in those fields.
If you subscribe to EQ we collect your email address only.
Through ordinary business dealings we also collect names, business contact details, organisation and role information, correspondence, enquiries, and information reasonably related to those dealings.
We do not collect sensitive information as part of our ordinary website, customer, prospect or partner engagement. No form on this website asks for it.
How we collect it.
We collect personal information directly from you: when you complete a form on this website, when you subscribe to EQ, and when you contact us by email or telephone.
We may also collect business contact information from you or from your organisation in the course of a commercial relationship. We do not buy lists and we do not collect personal information from data brokers.
Why we collect it and how we use it.
We use what you give us to respond to your request, to understand the requirement you are describing, to arrange a demonstration or a conversation, to assess a partnership, and to continue a commercial discussion you have started.
If you have subscribed to EQ, we use your email address to send you EdgeQub Insights.
We do not sell personal information. We do not trade in it, and we do not use it to build profiles of you or to score you as a prospect.
How we hold it and protect it.
Information collected through this website is held in EdgeQub's own database, hosted within a sovereign EdgeQub AI Campus. It is part of our own production architecture rather than a third party service.
Access is restricted to authorised EdgeQub personnel. We use multi-factor authentication, granular access controls, policy-based security controls and controlled retention and deletion, together with other technical and organisational safeguards.
No system can be made completely secure, and we do not claim otherwise. What we can tell you is that access is controlled, enforced and reviewed rather than assumed.
How long we keep it.
We retain personal information only in accordance with EdgeQub's retention requirements, which are enforced through policy rather than left to individual judgement, and it is subject to controlled deletion.
If you want to know whether we still hold information about you, ask us and we will tell you.
Who we disclose it to.
We do not disclose the personal information you submit through this website to third parties for their own purposes.
We may disclose personal information where you have asked us to, where it is necessary to provide something you have requested, or where we are required or authorised to do so by law.
Personal information you submit through this website is held in Australia. We do not send it overseas for processing.
Website technologies.
This website loads its typefaces from Google's font service. That means your browser contacts Google directly to fetch the fonts, and Google receives your IP address and basic browser and device information as part of that request. EdgeQub does not receive, hold or store that information, and it is not connected to anything you submit through a form.
This website uses your browser's session storage to remember, within a single visit, that you have submitted a form so that you land on the right confirmation. It is cleared when you close the tab. The site sets no cookies and uses no advertising or tracking pixels.
This website does not currently run Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager or any other analytics or tracking technology. We are considering website analytics for the future. If we introduce it, we will update this policy before or at the time it goes live, and describe what it collects.
Subscribe to EQ.
EQ is an editorial publication. If you subscribe, you receive EdgeQub Insights: perspectives from EdgeQub on energy, infrastructure, data, intelligence and the conditions changing how AI works.
Subscribing to EQ does not sign you up to general company updates or to generic article notifications, and EdgeQub does not run an unsolicited direct marketing programme. You receive EQ because you asked for it.
If you no longer want to receive EdgeQub Insights, tell us at privacy@edgequb.com and we will remove your address.
Access and correction.
You can ask us for access to the personal information we hold about you, and you can ask us to correct it if it is wrong, out of date or incomplete.
Write to us at privacy@edgequb.com, or by post to EdgeQub Pty Ltd, Level 5/50 McDougall St, Milton QLD 4064, or call (07) 3506 1100. We will ask you to verify your identity, and we will respond within a reasonable period.
If we cannot give you access or make a correction, we will tell you why.
Complaints.
If you think we have mishandled your personal information, tell us. Write to privacy@edgequb.com setting out what happened. We will acknowledge your complaint, investigate it and respond to you in writing, normally within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may raise the matter with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy.
We review this policy as our practices and our obligations change. When we change it, we update the effective date below and publish the new version here.
Effective 16 September 2026. Version 1.0.
